Preorder FAQ

What is a preorder?

A preorder is an purchase made in advance of a new product's release date. It is a great way to make sure you will be able to get an item before it sells out.

When do preorders for a new product become available?

Typically, we will not begin accepting preorders for items until 2 weeks before the official release date. This allows us to make sure we know how much of an item we are able to sell ahead of time. This is not a hard set timeframe, and sometimes we may allow orders either months or only a few days in advance.

When are preorders charged?

At this time, preorder items are considered sold and will be charged the full cost of the purchase, including any taxes and shipping charges, within 5 days of placing the order.

Can preorders be cancelled?

A preorder may be cancelled up until the product's ship date, which is typically the day before it officially releases. To cancel, please use the contact us link and make sure to provide the order # and the buyer's name/email.

What happens if I order an in-stock and a preorder item at the same time?

All orders that have a preorder item(s) in them will ship with the LATEST release item. For example, 2 separate items have release dates of May 1st and May 8th. The entire order will ship with the May 8th release window.

What happens if a release date changes?

The release dates we provide on a product page is provided by either the manufacturer, or our suppliers and are subject to change. Orders will be shipped with the new release date window.
